Daybard in one sentence

Daybard is a French-made iPhone and Mac app that reads your calendar and, every evening, lets you replay your real day as an RPG epic.

In one paragraph

Daybard is a gamified calendar app made by an independent developer in France. It starts from the calendar you already have: every appointment becomes a quest, with nothing to retype. In the evening, on iPhone, you replay your day chapter by chapter and choose how each moment ends, while your hero earns XP, gold and loot. On Mac, a pixel-art kingdom grows with your days. There is no account and no ads, and your data stays on your device. Daybard is free to download, with an optional Pro subscription.

Long version

Planners and to-do lists assume you have time to fill them in. Daybard starts from what you already have: the calendar on your iPhone and Mac. Every appointment gets a quest name and a threat to face, from the Shopping-Cart Goblin for the weekly groceries to the Leviathan of the Wall for an intense workout.

The heart of the app is a two-minute evening ritual. On iPhone, Daybard replays your day like a choose-your-own-adventure book: one chapter per moment, three possible outcomes (noble, wise or heroic), and none of them is ever punished. Your day earns XP, gold, equippable loot and titles. Every week, a pixel-art Nemesis waits for a turn-based fight rooted in your real week.

On Mac, the Kingdom view lays your calendar, tasks and guild over a pixel-art village that grows as you keep your appointments. If you want, Daybard also connects to Google Calendar, Outlook, Todoist, Notion or Asana.

Daybard was designed for parents and busy adults who end the day feeling it counted for nothing. There is no account, no ads and no ad tracking. The app is free; an optional Pro subscription adds more integrations, stats and RPG extras. It is built solo, in native Swift, by Meffysto, an independent developer in France.
