Daybard reads the calendar on your iPhone and your Mac. Every event gets a quest name, so you don't have to enter anything twice.
On iPhone, the evening grimoire walks you through your day chapter by chapter. For each moment, you pick an outcome: noble, wise or heroic, knowing that none of them is ever punished.
Your days earn XP, gold, equippable loot and titles. One day reward per day, so it stays a ritual and not a race.
A turn-based pixel-art battle rooted in your real week. The boss of the day is settled right inside the replay.

In the replay, no choice is punished. You look back on your day, choose how it ends, and your hero moves forward anyway.
Daybard is made by Meffysto, an independent developer in France. He builds Mac and iPhone apps on his own, with no ads and no ad tracking, and shares the whole process in public on X.
On iPhone, get Daybard from the App Store (iOS 17 or later). On Mac, download it from this site (macOS 14 or later, Apple Silicon and Intel). The evening replay is iPhone-only; the Kingdom view is on Mac.
Daybard is free to download. The ritual stays free: evening replay, boss of the day, XP, gold and the Kingdom never go behind a paywall. Daybard Pro is optional, as a monthly or annual subscription. The annual plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan has no trial. Pro adds multiple remote integrations, advanced guild features, longer chronicle history, search, stats and RPG cosmetics. One remote integration stays free.

Your calendar, reminders and hero stay on your device. No account to create, no ads, no ad tracking. Your progress can be saved to your private iCloud. Cloud integrations (Google Calendar, Todoist, Notion…) are only used if you connect them. For the weather, the app sends approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo. Details are in the privacy policy.
Yes, the download and the evening ritual are free. Daybard Pro is an optional monthly or annual subscription, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan. It is mostly for connecting several tools and unlocking RPG bonuses.
