In short
Daybard is a native Mac and iPhone calendar (Day, Week, Month, Agenda views, natural-language quick-add) with a game layer on top: each event becomes a quest, and you earn XP, loot, and a streak by closing out your days. Productive by day, playful by night.
A regular calendar tells you what you have to do. A gamified calendar also gives you a reason to look at it with pleasure. Daybard starts from a real calendar β not a gimmick β and adds RPG progression that makes busy days more motivating, with no extra work.
A real calendar, first
Before being a game, Daybard has to be a good calendar. On Mac, you get:
- Four polished views β Day as an hourly timeline, Week, Month, and an infinitely scrolling Agenda.
- Natural-language quick-add β "team sync Thursday 2pm, every 2 weeks" creates itself, recurrence included.
- Slot sharing (Openings) β your free slots in one link; the guest books, the app creates the event.
- Factions β a "Home" / "Guild" toggle to show only the right calendars.

The game layer, second
This is where "gamified" earns its name. Without changing anything about how you work:
- Your events carry quest titles and face off against a little monster.
- Closing out your day raises your level and your streak.
- At night, on iPhone, you replay your day and collect XP and loot.
Set up your gamified calendar in 4 steps
- Download Daybard on Mac (macOS 14+) and iPhone (iOS 17+).
- Grant calendar access. Daybard reads your existing calendars (iCloud, Googleβ¦): nothing to recreate.
- Add in natural language. Quick-add understands "gym in Brooklyn tomorrow 6pm" and creates the event, with a live preview at ββ΅.
- Close out your day at night. XP, loot, streak: the calendar becomes a progression that follows you from device to device via iCloud.
